Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026This policy describes cookies and similar browser technologies used on Irish Work Calc. Necessary storage supports the service. Analytics and advertising identifiers remain optional.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device identifiers. Some are set by Irish Work Calc (first party); others may be set by a service provider (third party). Irish ePrivacy rules generally require permission before optional information is stored on or read from a device.
2. Categories we use
Advertising helps keep the calculators free. Rejecting optional storage does not remove contextual or limited advertising; it prevents the optional identifiers used to measure or personalize ads.

The browser may retain a cookie for less time because of its own limits. A provider may update its cookie names. We review this table when services change.
4. Contextual and limited advertising
Advertising slots can load in Ireland and the United States even when optional advertising storage is off. Providers must receive a denied advertising-storage, ad-user-data and ad-personalization signal and may serve contextual or limited ads based on the page rather than a stored advertising profile. If you opt in, a provider may use identifiers for ad measurement and personalization as described in its notice.
If Google AdSense is used for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, its own certified consent platform requirements also apply. Enabling an advertising slot does not replace the operator’s obligation to configure the provider and its consent platform correctly.
5. Make or change a choice
The first-visit banner offers equally accessible accept, reject and category controls. No optional category is preselected. Choose to review or withdraw permission at any time. Withdrawal is effective for future processing and does not affect earlier lawful activity.
You may also delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent form security or preference features from working. Global Privacy Control is honoured as an opt-out of personalized advertising and sale/sharing. Browser Do Not Track is not used because it has no uniform standard.
